Honest-1 Auto Care

Good experiences with Honest-1 on my 2019 Chevy Cruze - initial inspection and brake work, then diagnosing a major transmission issue. Shop gained my trust with details like checking around for used transmission instead of just new, and being unusually frank about which services could/should be deferred vs higher priority. Substantial surprise on the positive side was after I realized they charged me a blanket 8% 'shop fee'. Owner himself quickly and courteously refunded this himself when I talked to him and said this was never mentioned or explained up front. Excellent customer service.

I had an excellent experience with this car service company. They were highly responsive, technically competent, and very transparent throughout the entire process. They clearly explained the work required, provided straightforward recommendations, and kept me informed along the way. I particularly appreciated their professionalism and honest approach—there was no pressure to undertake unnecessary work. It is refreshing to find a service provider that combines strong technical expertise with transparency and customer focus. Thanks to Tony, Conrad and owner Dennis. I would highly recommend them and will certainly use their services again.

I absolutely love this place. Jordan is very nice and goes out of his way to help you in any way he possible can. I had my car repaired here and he noticed one of my tires was bald. I happened to have a spare in the back of my car and he put the new one on for me and even tired to help fix my broken window. All had nothing to do with the actual repair of my car. Love this place!!!

I really enjoy working with Conrad and their team to quickly get my car back on the road. It is a nice perk that they are willing to drive me home. Never fun having to spend unexpected car repair bills, but it makes it easier knowing you're in capable hands.

My wife and I have both had service done here and in both cases it was simply outstanding. Both of our cars have transitioned from new car service at the dealership to finding a local shop we can trust. I can honestly say that the level of service and the genuine care shown at this establishment is unprecedented compared to the dealership experience. My wife had the oil changed on her car. They dropped her off, picked her up when the car was ready and it was done in the time promised. They inspected and recommended some additional items that were due per the mileage but didn’t push them hard. My car needed new brakes and it’s a unique vehicle. I dropped it off and got a ride home - Jordan is super nice. I got a call around noon letting me know the pricing because it was higher than normal. It was consistent with previous brake work so I wasn’t shocked but I appreciated the call. I was told it would be done “by the end of the day” and it was ready at 3:00. Honest-1 is a local business that does excellent work and supports the community. We all need to support businesses like this!!
